What Makes Sunrise Better?

Quality’s Built In
Sunrise Windows do more than just look good. Our company is dedicated to producing the most energy efficient, technologically advanced windows on the market. We stand behind each and every window with a lifetime warranty and customer service second to none. Years of experience and extensive research and development make Sunrise Windows your best choice for quality and performance. Style, selection and value…that’s Sunrise Window.

More Strength, More Air Tight
All Sunrise windows feature fusion welded frames and sashes. That means they last longer and perform better than windows with mechanically fastened corners. You’ll quickly appreciate the benefits of this airtight barrier in your home – not to mention in your pocketbook.

Superior Insulation
Pease of mind is knowing that the cold and wind will stay where it belongs – outside. Sunrise windows are constructed using energy-efficient pure virgin uPVC, which is superior to aluminum or wood in keeping your home insulated. And our polyurethane foam-filled extrusions provide higher R-values than typical PVC windows. Plus, we use only environmentally-friendly polyurethane foams containing no CFC’s, the exact same type of material used to insulate your refrigerator door.

Less Drafts
To guard against cold air and harsh winds from entering your home between the sashes and mainframe, all Sunrise Windows feature a triple weather-strip barrier that provides up to 50% more protection against winter’s worst weather. Everyone will claim that their windows are airtight, but we go one step further – we show you results. Our windows have been tested in independent labs that measure air infiltration rates. For a free copy of our test results - and assurance that your new windows are an airtight investment please contact an authorized Sunrise Window dealer.

With a constant 25 mile per hour wind, this test shows how many cubic feet of air infiltrated through each square foot of the window each minute.
All results are from each manufacturer's published product specifications. (Andersen 5/00; Marvin 1997, Pella 07/00) When comparing window brands, be certain to get actual test result copies from each manufacturer.

Ticker Means Warmer
We don’t cut costs by slimming down the overall thickness of the insulated glass unit like many other companies. In fact, all Sunrise units are a full 7/8” in overall thickness to maximize the insulation power.

Warm-Edge Technology
At Sunrise, we utilize the patented Intercept one-piece sealed spacer system that prevents heat or cold from traveling through the glass, Not only does our warm-edge technology keep the inside glass temperature warm, but it reduces changes of condensation.

Ultra-U PlusTM Insulated Glass
Investing in brand new replacement windows means reduced costs on heating and cooling your home. And, the better the insulating R-value of the insulated glass, the more money you can expect to save. Sunrise’s exclusive Ultra-U Plus” Insulated Glass insulates better than hard and soft coat Low-E glass, double-layered, or even triple-paned products. By reflecting the heat your furnace produces back into your home, you save money on heating costs, and in the summer, the sun’s rays are reflected back to the outside so your house remains cooler.

The Sunrise Edge
Let's face it, the insulated glass that's incorporated in virtually all windows looks practically the same, but that's where the similarities end. Performance levels vary significantly. Before you invest in new windows, it pays to investigate the Sunrise edge.

Sunrise Windows offers an entire range of high performing Ultra-U-Plus products ranging in R-Values from 4.35 to 10. For the product that provides the best performance and overall insulating value for your home, please consult with your authorized Sunrise Window dealer.

*Sunrise Windows also offers Ultra-U Plus products that provide an overall residential U-Value as low as .20. Consult your authorized Sunrise Window dealer for the product that provides the best performance and overall insulating value for your home.
The thermal performance rating (U-Value) is determined according to NFRC's uniform set of procedures in order to provide fair and accurate comparisons of all brands of windows . All information is direct from each manufacturers current published product specification.
